It's still easily visible and encourages people to see what Larry has to say. I do not use IE, but I've heard that it uses a yellow URL bar to mark suspicious sites. If that's true, then it seems like a good idea to get rid of that. Hopefully more companies will start using EV, which gives an even better visual cue.
